everyone be saying red dressed patriarch is secretly working for lou yun, i think it would have shown a relationship between them by now in one form or another if it were the case, either that or he decides to join lou yun side later on after he realizes how far lou yun currently is ahead of their plans

True true but have you known this donghua to be so secretive about the mc in relation to who he has sided with the only thing maybe is when he helped save the other direct disciple or whatever the status was and in return asked for his allegiance in staging a take over of wanjian pavillion.(the one who had the double identity and was beating up criminals and what not)
It didn’t clearly say that they had an agreement until a couple episodes later when he ends up siding with Lou yun rather than the other elders within the pavillion

These old farts have already lost but I respect their strength (stubbornness) to never give up aha.
